How hard is it to use colored pencils VS graphite pencils?

so right now i can draw people/photographs extremely well, i use graphite pencils. i have been interested in learning to use colored pencils to draw realistic people, they can be so beautiful in color. how hard is it to use colored pencils when i already can draw really good in graphite? how hard are they compared? any tips? thanks in advance! ")
