Guys answer please!! (sorry ladies no girls allowed)?

My friend Ciaran used to like me he asked me out then i turned him down, that was 3 years ago and after that we stayed friends he got a girlfriend i met someone, then i realized how stupid i was to let him go and i tried to give him hints i actually did like him i was too scared to tell him. I really thought he liked me, he invited me to the Cinema like by ourselves, we carved our names into a tree and he just laughed wen someone put a heart around it. He gave me his jacket in the snow bought me chips when i forgot my money and when i cried over a guy i like he told me i was too good for him. So at the start of this year i told him i liked him and his exact words were 'sorry but i don't like you' and then wedidn'tt speak for ages and now he keeps trying to talk to me and be funny on facebook he panics when i say im going offline beggs me to stay on. Asks wat i think of his profile pic and stuff. Is he embarred? does he really like me? does he just want me to be his best friend? or is he lying? GUYS I NEED BOYS opinions wat goes through boys heads wats in this ones head??because i think i still like him, it hurts in my chest and my heart jolts when i see him or when he looks at me.
